1. Information We Collect

We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when you register on the App, express an interest in obtaining information about us or our products and Services, or otherwise when you contact us.

• Personal Information Provided by You: We collect email addresses and names when you create an account to use the Scorer app.
• Authentication Data: We use Supabase for authentication. When you log in via Google or email/password, Supabase securely manages your authentication states and tokens.
• Application Data: We store match data (teams, players, scores, ball-by-ball logs) that you actively input into the app. This data is stored in our Supabase database to allow live syncing.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use personal information collected via our App for a variety of business purposes described below. We process your personal information for these purposes in reliance on our legitimate business interests, in order to enter into or perform a contract with you, with your consent, and/or for compliance with our legal obligations.

• To facilitate account creation and logon process: If you choose to link your account with us to a third-party account (such as your Google account), we use the information you allowed us to collect from those third parties to facilitate account creation and logon process.
• To manage user accounts: We may use your information for the purposes of managing our account and keeping it in working order.
• To deliver and facilitate delivery of services to the user: We use your match data to provide live scoring functionality to viewers.

3. Local Storage and Cookies

We use standard browser features like localStorage to improve your experience:

• Offline Sync: We temporarily store match data in your device's localStorage when your internet connection drops, ensuring you don't lose data while umpiring. This data is synced to our servers once the connection is restored.
• Session Management: Supabase uses local storage to maintain your active login session securely.

4. Will Your Information Be Shared With Anyone?

We do not share, sell, rent, or trade your personal information or match data with third parties for their promotional purposes. Match data set to "Live" visibility is publicly accessible by anyone with the Match ID or link, as intended by the core functionality of the app. Matches set to "Local Only" are not publicly visible.

5. How Long Do We Keep Your Information?

We will only keep your personal information for as long as it is necessary for the purposes set out in this privacy notice, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. You can delete your matches from the Scorer dashboard at any time, which permanently removes them from our database.
